Is it essential, to succeed at losing weight, that you exercise?
Let me explain, with a real life example...
Let’s say you need 2000 calories a day to maintain your body weight
Therefore to lose body weight, you need 1500 calories
Let’s say you begin exercising 3 times a week
So your calorie burn is higher
Therefore you now need 2200 calories a day to maintain your weight
Exercise has slightly increased the calorie deficit
Meaning you can eat a little bit more to elicit the same results
Or consume the same amount and slightly speed up your weight loss with a slightly bigger deficit
Exercise is not the big influencer in your weight loss success
A calorie deficit is #ccd
I will always be an big advocate of exercise
But weight loss is a numbers game
And exercise is not the key player
